I'm here today to share with you a resource that will get students actively engaged & practicing the skill of writing dialogue & producing a piece of writing! The bonus is, it is FREE & you can use it as an informal assessment of student application of the standard! Don't forget the bonus of technology integration! TRIPLE BONUS!

Yes, you do need computers to use this. So if you only have a set for a small group, you could integrate this activity through your Writing Center [or any center] during your ELA block. You could also make use of it in your Computer Lab as well.

  • Choose the # of panels they want in their comic.
  • Choose the character[s], backgrounds & objects they want in each panel.
